about

Originally recorded in 2002-2003, this collection of songs made for robots was submitted to the Robot Workers Union Local #808 in the year 2030. Scoring a 9.6 for Effective Movement Protocol and Digital-to-Analog Funk Conversion, the album was selected and designated the Official Rally Album, and notification was dispatched to the year 2023.

The result: music for robots to work, play, dance, and love to. Greasy breakbeats, lo-fi brutal softsynths, rapping robots, childhood recordings resurrected from cassette tapes... an 80's sensibility with late 90's soundcard vibe.

Re-mastererized for 11-bit mono, optimized for playback on your Soundblaster 16 soundcard, priced to sell at late 90's cassette tape rates!

about

Norm Scott Ithaca, New York

I like robots, 808s, and greasy funk. The music you are enjoying in the present was created in the past and submitted to the future before arriving back here.
